This is a hard-wired lighting fixture. Perhaps the people who previously reviewed this item do not understand what that actually means. It is not like a table lamp that plugs into a wall outlet that would have a switch on the lamp. It is instead like a light that you might install to the ceiling, with 3 wires: a positive, negative, and ground wire that you twist together to the matching wires coming out of the ceiling. a wall switch in your house controls the electricity coming to those wires you hooked up to. That's the kind switch you're supposed to use with this lighted mirror. Of course this item does not come with that wall switch. Now, the actual review. docking one star for lack of brightness in the LED strip. I use this as a makeup vanity mirror and it definitely could use some more lumens. otherwise it's a great modern-styled mirror for the price. Go see this item in person at an IKEA and you'll see the light bounces off the inner surface of the outer rim that turns up at the sides. nice simple design. Most LED-lighted mirrors are at least 3 times the cost of this.
